Other than being heroes/evil/terrorists, what do the Order/DEs/BOMB actually DO?


ORDER OF THE PHOENIX

Dumbledore formed it in 1973, and then, it was composed of himself, McGonagall, & Moody. During this time, they just watched and did research. In 1975-76ish, they started recruiting more people, and they did mainly recon work, handing over major arrests and whatnot to the DMLE. During this time, the Order started trying to put the word out about the dangers of the DEs. Currently the jobs they do are:

- DMLE Order members: make sure their people are on raids, and they make lists of and trail suspected DEs. There are currently no confirmed DEs, save for those already arrested/killed by the DMLE.
- St. Mungo's Order members: watch for injuries, etc. and report back to the Order.
- Pureblood &/or some well-off Fullblood (NOT bloodtraitor) Order members: attend various society functions, network, and try to keep a good rapport with known dark society purebloods.
- Other Order members: scout out places like Knockturn Alley, and watch suspected DEs movements..
- Dumbledore: tracks Tom Riddle's movements, seeks out relevant memories, etc. (NOTE: he is the only one who knows Voldemort's true name.)



DEATH EATERS

- Ministry Death Eaters: infiltration, i.e. work on heading up departments and climbing the government ladder, basically with the goal of taking over the Ministry slowly and getting rid of all muggleborns.
- Older first generation Death Eaters: Trusted, only a few members know the Dark Lord's secrets. I.e. only the class of 1945 (Knights of Walpurgis)would know the Dark Lord's true name and lineage.
- St. Mungo's Death Eaters: watch for injuries, etc. and report back to the DEs.
- Other Death Eaters (younger members): go on missions, strike fear into wizarding society, seek and destroy enemies of the Dark Lord. The Death Eaters at this time do not know about the secret organization known as the Order of the Phoenix. They only know of those who speak out against Him and that Dumbledore is definitely against them.
- Voldemort: seeks immortality, makes horcruxes, and positions his people to take over the Ministry.



BOMB

Started very recently (i.e. less than a month before game opened) by Carlotta Pinkstone and a few of her muggleborn comrades (NPCs for now). They are unorganized and currently lacking in numbers. Their major goal is to get the Ministry's attention and potentially cause a revolt. They have no list of suspected Death Eaters, though at this point, all purebloods, in their mind, are culpable. They also do not know anything of the Order of the Phoenix at this time.
